About Us

Established in the fall of 2018, the Fidget Quilt Ministry makes quilts for adults with dementia and children on the autism spectrum. To date, we have made and given away approximately 1800 quilts.

The Ministry is open to anyone, regardless of age- the only requirement is an elementary knowledge of sewing and a desire to bring a smile to someone’s face. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month at LifeSpring Community Church in Valley City where we share quilts we have completed, embellishments we have discovered, responses to quilts that have been sent out, and requests for quilts, presentations and/or workshops.

Our quilts have been sent to individuals, organizations and facilities throughout greater Cleveland, to southern Ohio, as far south as North Carolina, as far west as Oklahoma. We have provided quilts for a refugee center in Poland where they were used to comfort children fleeing from the war in the Ukraine, and a refugee center for mothers and children in Mexico. We have been featured on several local TV stations over the past 2 years. Feel free to contact us for additional information regarding our ministry or our quilts.
